ANOTHER LYRICIST DIRECTOR NON KANNADA TITLE – SHARP SHOOTER
Posted date: 27 Fri, Jun 2014 – 07:58:00 AM

Two of the Kannada lyricists Ananda Priya and Ghouse Peer have preferred a Hindi and English title for their debut films shows their love for the Kannada language. The media make inquiry on this but no one from the industry checks these youngsters’ wrong practices!

However Ghouse Peer = remember for his Chiru Kannada film song ‘Ille Ello Nanna Manasu….makes debut in four years of his entry to direction of ‘Sharp Shooter’…Nambi Please. He had written ‘Lucky’ Kannada film story and screenplay and written more than 50 songs for Kannada films. Although Navarasas are part it is comedy that dominates in the film he says.

SB Entertainers Srinivas and Balu are producers of this film that shoot at Mysore, Europe, Dubai and in Bangalore. Karunakar is cameraman, Shiv Santosh is music composer is relative to producer Srinivas.

Diganth plays village guy and comes to city for his match. There are several twists that I cannot reveal he says. Sangeetha Chauhan (not sister of Sonal Chauhan) is female lead. She plays the role of an aggressive advocate in the film. She hails from model division to film acting. Already workshop has been conducted for this lovely looking heroine.

Mithra is Mooga in this film. He is in fourth film with Diganth.

God only should give education to people like Ghouse Peer and Ananda Priya. The government of Karnataka has the ‘Soothra’ but it is hesitant to apply it. What is it? No non Kannada titles would be entertained for subsidy and other facilities of the government. This policy is in Tamil Nadu. That is the reason ‘One Way’ English title for Kannada becomes ‘Oruvali Salai’ a pure Tamil title.
